Oh the magic of the holidays. That special time of year when fireplaces are lit and fresh snow blankets the world in white – unless you’re celebrating the holidays in Palm Beach that is! Palm Beach Island Real Estate does its own take on the holidays for a Christmas that very merry, though not necessarily white. Snow is replaced by sand and the partridge in a pear tree is more along the lines of a parrot in a palm tree. But that doesn’t make it any less magical. We’re revealing Palm Beach’s holiday secrets on where to go and what to do during a holiday season in paradise.

Palm Beach Island Real Estate Holiday Season

Palm Beach comes alive with excitement during the Holiday season. It’s population expands from a quiet island of approximately 10,500 to a bustling 30,000! You won’t see any snow clouds here as temperatures average at a high of 75 and a low of 60. Celebrating holidays in Palm Beach is the perfect time to enjoy a cup of coffee on your patio overlooking the ocean or a meal outside a cafe sitting al fresco.

The Breakers

The Breakers is an iconic hotel and residence in Palm Beach. There’s no better time to visit this hisotrical landmark than during the holiday season. Days leading up to Thanksgiving are busy with holiday moments filled with Pumpkin Patch Bingo, a Family Harvest Festival, Fall Carnival and special Thanksgiving Day Feast at the Ponce de Leon Ballroom and Flagler Steakhouse. Holiday Spirit continues through December with HMF Holiday Tea and Christmas parties galore. Not to mention, The Breakers will be illuminated with more than 160,000 lights, garlands, wreaths and Christmas trees to keep feelings of Christmas Past alive.

Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade

Garb a chair and find a spot along the Intracoastal waterway for the Annual Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade. Starting at the North Palm Beach Marina, boats decorated in lights and holiday decor parade up to Jupiter Lighthouse. Activities, dinners and parties are to be found in public parks and restaurants along the route providing a variety of locations and venues to view the parade.

Family Fun Snowfalls and Winter Wonderland

Snowfall comes early on Palm Beach Island Real Estate. For those who just can’t seem to get in the holiday spirit without a little snow, head over to City Place or Macys on Worth Ave for hourly snowfall while completing your Christmas shopping. Head back to City Place on December 13th for a Winter Wonderland experience the whole family will love. Meet your favorite snow princess, sing with carolers, make holiday crafts and celebrate Santa’s arrival to Palm Beach!
