2. Lagoon Fest

The event will feature a nine-hole golf competition. Before the event starts, there will be a pre-cocktail to loosen up the competitors. The competition is open to teams of two or four people. Afterward, there will be beer, wine, hors d’oeurves, and more. There will also be an awards ceremony to crown the winners. For those looking to brush up on their golf game, there will be a Women’s Golf Clinic.

However, there will also be cocktails and mixed drinks. Anyone interested in some live entertainment won’t be disappointed. The entertainment all comes in the form of traditional German entertainment. For both children and adults alike, there will be carnival rides.
As of yet, the club has not announced the date of the event. Last year, it took place October 7-9 and October 14-16 at the American German Club. Although the date has not yet been announced, the club is in the process of crowning this year’s Miss Oktoberfest. She will be a key figure in this year’s event.
5. Scarecrow Festival and Contest
On October 21st, you can celebrate fall with the Scarecrow Festival and Contest. The event will take place at the Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum. Located inside the 1916 Court House, the event is steeped in history. For years, locals have been celebrating this one-of-a-kind event. There will be live music, agriculture, food, and activities for children. You can also participate in a variety of arts and crafts, like pumpkin decorating. There’s no shortage of fall fun.
The signature event of the festival is the Scarecrow Competition. Local families, schools, and businesses all compete to make a winning scarecrow. The event costs $10, and children under three are free.
